Next-Gen Cell-Free DNA Blood Collection Tubes Available

Nasmed Diagnostics expands its molecular diagnostic portfolio with the introduction of Cell-Free DNA (cfDNA) Blood Collection Tubes, specifically formulated for Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT), liquid biopsy oncology, and circulating biomarker research.

### Molecular Sample Stabilization

Traditional EDTA tubes allow nucleated white blood cells to lyse within hours of collection, diluting circulating cell-free target DNA with heavy genomic DNA. Nasmed’s cfDNA tubes contain a proprietary stabilization reagent that preserves white blood cell membrane integrity for up to 14 days at 15°C – 30°C.

This breakthrough eliminates the need for immediate cold-chain centrifuge processing, allowing diagnostic labs to safely transport samples from remote collection centers to central genomics facilities without sample degradation.
