Clinical Training & Phlebotomy Workshop at Sparsh Hospital

Nasmed’s clinical technical team conducted an extensive on-site Phlebotomy Excellence and Sample Handling Workshop in collaboration with Sparsh Hospital’s Department of Laboratory Medicine.

### Interactive Hands-on Demonstrations

Over 60 phlebotomists, pathology residents, and senior nursing staff participated in practical training sessions covering:

1. **Order of Draw Protocols:** Preventing cross-contamination of tube additives.
2. **Proper Inversion Techniques:** Achieving complete mixing without causing hemolysis.
3. **Optimal Centrifugation Speeds & Times:** Ensuring clean barrier gel formation for serum stability.

Participants engaged in hands-on tube handling demonstrations and received certified diagnostic practice toolkits to standardize specimen collection across emergency and inpatient departments.
